Project Description

The concept of this particular pavilion was the idea of simply lifting a ‘cube’ which was to be the insulated space. The result of this move is a covered outdoor space underneath this cube that can be utilized for numerous occasions. Also, by lifting, you also minimize the footprint and damage to the site. By creating two ‘anchors’ that support the ‘cube; this pavilion can be located in many locations with the possibility of the ‘cube’ element being switched out or removed entirely. The pavilion was made entirely of concrete, wood, steel and glass.
